3D Dreams Ultrasound

  We had an amazing day seeing our baby girl for the first time at our 3D ultrasound.  It was amazing to be able to see all of her features.  We could distinctly see all her fingers and toes.  We even saw that she has a little bit of hair...hooray for hairbows!  3D Dreams did an also job and allowed us to view 3D and 4D images of our baby. The ultrasound tech kept saying "She has beautiful lips!"  Zoey really made us laugh by keeping one foot right beside her cheek.  She was in a split the whole time...I guess she'll be a cheerleader like mommy after all!  The tech said our baby girl would definitely be a snuggler...I know MiMi will eat that up! We were so glad that the soon to be grandparents were there to take part in the fun with us!

Zoey Isabella Engel

     Our baby girl has been named!  Zoey Isabella Engel will be gracing us with her prescence in about 12 weeks.  Choosing a name has been very difficult since I am a teacher.  I seemed to make some kind of connection with every name with discussed.  Colby was the easier one to please! Zoey Isabella was a name that we loved even before we found out that we were expecting.  We tossed around a few other names too, but always seemed to come back to Zoey Isabella. It just seemed to fit us and her...it's kinda funny to say that even though we haven't even met her yet. I had ordered a monogram dress with her initials embroidered to let Colby know that it was my final choice. He had always wanted us to choose that name, but I wanted to be sure it was the most perfect name.  When the order came, his eyes lit up and he said "Is that the final name?"  We were both ecstatic that we had finally decided together. Zoey Isabella Engel just fit us perfectly all along. We can't wait to meet her!

I'm a Big Girl

Our baby girl continues to grow and receive a healthy report from the doctor. Her heart rate is staying in the 150's at each visit. I just took the glucose test this past week and thankfully I passed. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.  Below is a few more pictures of our growing baby girl! I switched to a pink shirt since we found out it was girl; however, I don't think this shirt will make it to 40 weeks! It is becoming a belly shirt!

Spring is Coming!
